Unidentified Decedent

Pima County Jane Doe

The Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner is working to identify this female found near Summerhaven, Arizona.  She is believed to have been deceased for approximately five years before she was discovered in 1972.  It is estimated that she is about 5’2”, between 16 and 27 years old, and is Caucasian.  Some of the personal effects found near her include the following: Pall Mall cigarettes, match book covers manufactured by “Monarch Match Company”, a “Pagoda” lipstick tube by Avon, Tucson Rapid Transit Zone 3 ticket, a straw purse, and a yellow flight bag.  White Mocassin-stlye shoes, a pair of canvas lace up shoes, and blue denim jeans with western style pockets and a waist size of 25” to  25.5” were also found with her.
